Student of the Month

Ryan has attended South Jordan Middle School this year. He has loved it and fit in very well. He applied and made the Hope Squad, and was chosen as one of 10 students to be the student of the month in October. He has found Junior High to be much more interesting than Elementary School. We are very proud of him!

Seal Beach in March 2010

A nice afternoon at Seal Beach, Todd's old stomping ground. We may have to move here permanently. Beats the Utah snow, that's for sure! Sarah and Kathryn had a great time making a Sea Shell Mountain, we flew kites, we rinsed sand out of Sarah's eyes, Dallin and Dad took a jog together, Ryan took a nap, and we did In N Out Burger on the way back to Grandmas.






Grandma gave us kites to take to the beach. We flew Dora and The Clone Wars all afternoon.


When we got tired of flying out kites, we had my shoes do it for us! They stayed up the entire afternoon.

We've Arrived!

Well, the Jorgensens have finally arrived on the blog scene! After months (if not years) of fighting it, we have finally decided to join the ranks of the family bloggers. I usually buck at trends, but I decided that to make a family blog would at least be a good way of journaling our family's history and contribute to the turning of my heart more towards my children. Who knows, it might even be fun! We hope you will enjoy reading about us, and if nothing else, we will enjoy reading about us! And my sister-in-law Jill will be very happy!

I would like each of my family members to introduce themselves:

Todd, Big Daddy: recovering beach bum from Seal Beach, CA; self-employed since 1992; owner of a screenprinting company that markets custom products to school groups nationwide; Angels and Dodgers fan; Mexican food junkie; wanna be electric guitarist; love music; currently learning patience and longsuffering; looking to improve myself on a regular basis; married to the beautiful and talented Stephanie; father of 5 amazing monkeys; would drop everything for opportunity to play professional Ultimate Frisbee; wish list of things to do: go on a cruise, visit the Azores, live in Portugal for a year with my family.

Stephanie, (Hot Mama) - I am 41 (yikes!) years old. I stay home full time taking care of my energetic kids. I love to read, cook, scrapbook, watch movies, and get outdoors. I really do love to play tennis and go skiing and do other sports, I just don't. Maybe when my kids get in school full-time! I also love the gospel of Jesus Christ. It affects everything I am and everything I do.

Ryan 12 -I like books. I like the Wii. I like Hawaii. I like School. I have all A's. I was in ALPS.
Dallin 9 - I like movies,games,and lots of other things. My favorite food is pizza.I play the guitar.
Tyler 6 - Welcome world! I like to do fun things like play with my friends, watch Star Wars, play with Legos, play Star Wars, and draw Star Wars pictures.
Kathryn 4 1/2 - Love, be kind to your friends, I like to play with friends. My best friend is Jackson Osmond (even though I have never played with him - but I will tomorrow), I like to play house with my babies. My favorite movie is home videos and The Hannah Montana movie. I love to run errands with my mom.
Sarah 3 - I want to dance. I want to be a ballerina. I like to play toys. My favorite movie is Cinderella. I like to paint and play with Coco our dog.
